Daily UI Challenge: 1-5

Hello,

In the past few weeks, I’ve been doing the Daily UI challenge and loving it! My favorite thing is letting my creativity run free.

Several years ago, I was publishing a bunch of random mobile apps; I enjoyed the process of creating and designing them. Then I built my first personal website from scratch; it wasn’t the greatest design, but it was an amazing learning experience. At that time, I was creating for myself, though.

My curiosity for UI/UX design has grown lately. I approach it differently now; I think about how the user is going to interact with my design.

So I recently started using Figma to create the following designs:

Daily UI 001:

For my first design of this challenge, I created a sign up screen for a running app.

The colors were inspired by the Nike Run Club app. The microcopy’s tone is friendly and welcomes the user to reach their running goals.

Daily UI 002:

I created a credit card checkout flow. I decided to keep things clean and simple, using a white background and a blue color.

Here’s how it works:

The user chooses a payment method on the top part of the app screen; once selected, the user can manage the saved cards/methods. If the user has more than one card/method on file, they can see them by swiping right.

Once the payment method is selected, the user reviews their order details before paying.

Daily UI 003:

This is a landing page for a smart ring.

The microcopy describes the ring’s purpose; I added a call-to-action button to encourage visitors to learn about the product.

In terms of colors, I used a pastel gradient to make people feel at ease and welcome.

Daily UI 004:

I wanted to design a modern-looking calculator, focusing on round buttons and colors that truly stand out.

Daily UI 005:

I created an icon for a running app. The design of the R symbolizes someone in movement. The neon blue color palette is vibrant, just like runners usually feel when they crush their runs!

What do you think about these designs? Please feel free to share your feedback!

Thank you,
Eduardo
